What is the status of the COVID-19 Vaccination process?

The residents of Benzie and Leelanau Counties have made great progress and continue to make progress with vaccine coverage rates. Leelanau County is still leading the way in the State of Michigan! There is still work to be done to increase the vaccine protection within our counties.  The less opportunity the virus has to spread, the less likely we will see a surge of cases due to a variant that is more infectious, more severe, or not impacted by our vaccines.

Below are the current COVID-19 vaccine rates as of yesterday July 20th, 2021.
