Dear friends, peace be with you.
We pray that your summer plans and visits are refreshing you in body and soul.
This weekend celebrates the first annual World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly. Many of our grandparents and their generation have given us an image of faithfulness despite hardship, hope in insecurity, and joy in frailty. Consider celebrating this Sunday by extending the love and presence of Jesus Christ to our elderly brothers and sisters, reminding them that God has not abandoned them and is with them always.
If you are interested in taking a walk through the Church's vision for evangelization and catechesis, join us for our 2020 Directory for Catechesis study group which will be held in August. Please click here to let us know when you would be available to meet.
Also, don’t forget to invite your catechists to join the FREE Southeast Catechist Conference, August 12-15. Powerful speakers such as Fr. Mike Schmitz, Joe Paprocki, Julianne Stanz, Fr. Robert Spitzer, and others will renew the evangelical spark of all the baptized.
Please count on our prayers for you and we humbly ask for your prayers for us.
