IAWM Virtual Assembly: Holy Solidarity

You are invited to the 2021 International Association of Women Ministers (IAWM) Virtual Assembly being held on Friday and Saturday, July 30 & 31, 2021.
 
“Holy Solidarity: Embracing Racial Justice as Women in Ministry” is the theme with very exciting presentations planned. Join for all – or any part of the Assembly – as your schedule permits.
 
You are encouraged you to share this invitation with at least three (3) colleagues, friends, and/or acquaintances who are ordained, theologically trained, and/or church leaders.
 
In addition, as time allows, please consider sharing it with:

  • Your alma mater (seminary or theological training institution), and
  • Women in ministry groups with which you participate (including social media)

NE Glow Retreat

The New England Glow fall retreat will be held at Camp Wilmot from September 17-19, 2021! The fall retreat is for youth ages 12-18 (middle and high school). The theme is "Let Your Light Shine" and participant registration forms can be found here. There is a $100 fee for participants. A limited number of scholarships will be available for youth who need financial assistance. Participant Registration forms are due by August 17.

We are also looking for volunteer facilitators. Facilitators must be 20 years of age or older by September 17, 2021. Facilitators will be responsible for attending the entire program, leading a small group, and participating fully in all aspects of the program. Opportunities for further leadership are also available in the form of music, worship and large and small group activities. A mandatory training session will be scheduled in late August. Facilitator Application forms can be filled out here. Facilitator Applications are due by August 13, 2021.

However, Presbyterian Women are committed and connected, so they will be holding an Online Churchwide Gathering event on August 5, with a Business Meeting on August 4.
