Welcome Rev. L.A. King!
On Sunday, August 1st, we welcome the Rev. L.A. King as our Celebrant.
Father Mack out of Town: Fr. Mack will be away on retreat at Fallen Leaf Lake from Thursday, July 22nd through Thursday, August 6th, and will be unavailable by phone or email. If you have a pastoral care emergency, please be sure to contact Deacon Cookie.
CONFIRMATION CLASSES: Will start on Wednesday, August 11th and will meet every Wednesday 7-8:30pm, through Wednesday, September 15th. We will gather IN PERSON in the church, and discuss the book "Your Faith, Your Life: An Invitation to the Episcopal Church" available on Amazon. If you have any questions, please let Fr. Mack know!
We will continue in-person worship THIS Sunday, with an 8am Rite I service (please keep in mind this service is for our older members and those in higher-risk categories) and a 10am Rite II service.
We will still be wearing masks and socially distancing during Sunday worship.
if you'd like to receive communion but are still worshiping from home, be sure to come by the church Sundays between 9-10am, and we can give you consecrated bread for your use during online worship.
IN PERSON COFFEE HOUR: We'll continue to have coffee hour this Sunday AFTER the 8am service and BEFORE the 10am. If you're interested in helping out, please contact Emma Green. Even if you're not into brewing the coffee, setting up, etc...we can definitely use food/snack items (individually wrapped).
ON-LINE Sunday Coffee Hour:
We're still meeting Sundays at NOON on Zoom, so be sure to join us!

Taizé Healing Service: Fr. Mack is trying to gauge the congregation's interest in having a monthly Taizé healing service. Primarily, we would need a small group of people to help lead the music (with voice and/or instruments). If you have never participated in a Taize service, be sure to check out: https://www.taize.fr/en_rubrique2607.html or just search for "Taize services" on YouTube to get a taste. If you would like to sing/play an instrument, or just simply attend, please let Fr. Mack know!
Lay Eucharistic Visitors: If you are currently licensed as a Lay Eucharistic Visitor, and would like a "refresher," or if you are interested in getting licensed for this ministry, please let Fr. Mack or Deacon Cookie know. We are hoping to begin sending out our Lay Eucharistic Visitors soon! If you're unfamiliar with this ministry, and would like to learn more, be sure to talk with Fr. Mack or Deacon Cookie.
Kid's Church: We'll have a SUNSHINE EUCHARIST (a kid-friendly outdoor service) in August, so be sure to stay tuned for further information.
Safe Church Update- Everyone who used Praesidium or Armatus in the past 4 years has received an email that will take you to the new Praesidium Academy. Please open the email and enter your email address that you were using then. Passwords now need to be at least 12 characters, so it is best to select "forgot password." You will then be sent in your email a link and code to reset the password. When you have done this, bookmark the site and save the password so you can get back to it later. You do not need, at this time to take any classes. I will contact you later when you need to take additional classes. The group that we are part of is "The Church Pension Fund." Please email me if you have any questions and I will attempt to find answers for you. - Joan Tucker
