- Tickets that can be purchased per day will be a maximum of 20,000 , assuming that there will be a maximum of these visitors inside the fair facilities per day. Considering the tickets that can be sold in 2019 (80,000), we have an availability of only 25% of the tickets that can be sold in past editions.
- All tickets will be nominal: this means that when purchasing you will have to put your name and surname and other hypothetical data; it is also difficult for there to be the possibility to change the name before the fair. If the tickets will be nominal, it is very likely that when entering the areas it will be necessary to show some type of document that identifies you, otherwise the concept of nominal is completely useless for health safety!
- Access to the fair (all parts of the fair) only with ticket only .
- Ticket can be purchased only online, in advance .
Cost of tickets?
The actual cost is not yet known, most likely they are waiting to see what offer they can offer and therefore at what price.
We will probably know the price directly at the opening of the presale on 21 September.
Access to every element of the fair only with a ticket
In the video presentation it is specified that each part of the fair will be accessible only with a ticket, it is therefore remembered that the exhibitions, the junior area, the various conferences are no longer free and free access.
We remind you that the city of Lucca will not have specific limitations for the fair, the city will live like any other day in October / November.
Location of the fair and the thematic areas
The organization already specifies the buildings it will use and the thematic areas that it will host:
- COMICS
- Palazzo Ducale
- Piazza Napoleone
- Sports Hall
- GAMES
- Real Collegio and Cavallerizza
- MUSIC / COSPLAY
- Church of San Francesco
- JAPAN
- Exhibition Center
The layout of the buildings makes us understand that the various themes will be further divided into sub-areas: for example, a part of the comics at the sports hall suggests that there will be a separate category in a single pavilion. Instead, the question remains of how to create a cosplay parade in the building of the church of San Francesco, even if perhaps they also mean the gardens behind the building.
More disconcerting is the choice of the location of the Polo Fiere for Japan: it is certainly a very large and comfortable space, but with that arrangement only people with cars can reach it safely, otherwise shuttles would be needed which however remain an unsuitable service. in this period of distancing.
We will see in the future the evolution of the choices made, but so at a glance it gives the impression that they want to create "closed compartments".
Fair content?
We know there will be Games, Comics, Cosplay, Japan. We also know that there will be exhibitions and perhaps a junior part; we know that the stands can participate because registrations start from the end of July, but we do not know if they will accept and what conditions will be required ... There will probably be the most important conferences of the fair, such as the awarding of various prizes, or some important guests. Surely the organization wants to field a bit of a fair market that was not foreseen last, but there are many unknowns that can be solved only towards the time of the fair.
No authorized events outside the fair areas
It is already clarified that any activities outside the fair spaces are not authorized. This means that all the spontaneous aggregations of cosplay and fashion shows cannot (and should not) be activated in the city. This does not exclude that some kind of small event may be present in the areas of the fair, even if it is difficult to have the right space and the possibility of aggregation.
The current safety regulations are followed
[...] All the pandemic containment regulations (masks, gatherings, Green Pass ...) will depend on the current situation and will be in line with the regulations in force. [...]
from the official website
This is a small footnote, but it will determine the whole fair. Currently the rules for the fairs are still not very clear, and we are all white regions. What happens if we are in yellow, or orange or red? The consequences go downhill: first of all the problems of moving, the use of the green pass with doubts for the new variants. In red, let's face it, the on-site fair is just not done!
So the organization has set up a fairly large on-site fair, but she too does not know whether or not she will be able to do it.
Bookable parking spaces in Lucca
2 main car parks will be set up: the one at the
Palazzetto dello Sport (let's imagine both the old Tagliate car park ...) and the one at the
Polo Fiere in Lucca .
Fair also accessible online and through RAI
The digital broadcasts through the site and the appointments with RAI have been re-proposed, it is assumed that the procedures will be very similar to those of 2020.
Campfires re-proposed
CampFire, the shops throughout Italy that offer small internal events and special edition material sent directly from the event, were also announced.
