COVIDSafe Update.
Dear SBMT Community,
Unfortunately the extension of restrictions has seen the cancelation of training, matches and functions until next Tuesday at 11.59pm. This means there will be no Auskick, no SMJFL nor VAFA matches this weekend and no training through to mid next week, until Wednesday at the earliest. Please find the statements relating to the restrictions on our website here:

Cancelation of upcoming events
Women of SBMT Ladies’ Lunch
Due to the potential limits surrounding allowable numbers indoors after that time, we have unfortunately had to cancel the upcoming Women of SBMT Ladies’ Lunch which was scheduled for next Saturday 31 July. This is one of our biggest lunches on the club calendar every year and a great opportunity for all the wonderful women across our club to come and catch up as well as support a chosen charity each season. This year our nominated charity was Defining Beauty, a charity supporting women going through breast cancer.
Any support for this worthy charity regardless of the lunch being canceled, would be greatly appreciated. Go to www.bravebeauties.com.au to donate.
Thank you to our fabulous Women of SBMT Wendy Garside, Janine Beckwith, Deb O’Kearney and Lisa Harris for their work to organise the lunch this year. Their ongoing commitment to our club is exceptional and very much appreciated. They are stepping off the committee at the end of this season so any women wishing to take part in planning for the lunch in the future please email president@stbedesmentonetigers.com.au .
Bogan Bingo
After being rescheduled already this season, the upcoming Bogan Bingo event scheduled for August 7 2021, will be rescheduled again to take place early in the 2022 season.
Refunds for both the Bogan Bingo and Women of SBMT Ladies’ Lunch will be forthcoming to anyone who purchased a ticket. We ask for patience as the refunds are sorted through manually.
Stay Connected to our SBMT people
Not everyone copes with lockdown in the same way. It can be very challenging for some. If experiencing financial hardship, the following site is useful for local organisations or resources to assist: https://askizzy.org.au/ .
Please reach out to our club members who you may feel are vulnerable, those who live alone perhaps, or for whom you know these restrictions are a significant challenge. Mostly, just stay connected to our own people. Your call or contact could be the one thing to get someone else through this harshest of times.
