Originally built in 1926, The Westlawn Inn served as a guesthouse for bayside vacationers for the last century. Now, we would like to welcome you as OUR guest for fine dining and fabulous music.

A Summertime Dining Experience...

The best of what might be - That's what The Westlawn can offer you! A recent review from a customer: "It was so pleasant to slow down and relax on the veranda, drink a leisurely bottle of wine and enjoy a fabulous meal." The tables on the porch almost always enjoy a breeze from the bay and a quiet atmosphere to unwind in. Or, dine inside in the cool and attractive main dining room, decorated to reflect the historic legacy of the building.

As we enter our 18th year, we continue to offer what we hope is "North Beach's Quintessential Dining Experience."

Of course, we are facing the challenges that the entire restaurant industry is facing. Our two biggest challenges right now are staffing and procurement of product. 
In particular, we need a line cook. Please help us spread the word! Pay is fair, hours are Friday and Saturday evenings and otherwise flexible, training is provided, and the staff is friendly and fun. Applicants need to be 16 or older and reliable! Until we fill this position, we will be limited in how many customers we can serve at any given time, and from time to time might not be able to take a carryout order (particularly on Saturday music nights).
Secondly, some of our favorite foods are either not available or priced to the point that we can't offer them. Among these are our ever-popular Filet Mignon, Crab Meat, and Sea Scallops. Chef Fletcher is doing an amazing job of adjusting to the unexpected shortages each week. 
 
We are completely impressed with our staff, both in the back and the front of the house. They are loyal, dependable, and hard working and are dealing with all of the challenges with grit and grace. Please keep this in mind when you dine with us.

If you leave a message, we will get back to you as soon as we arrive, so don't be concerned if you don't hear from us prior to that. We check our email all day but after 3:30, please call.

Closed to the Public: Friday, 8/27

With all of the many challenges, we have made the decision to no longer schedule Rehearsal Dinners on Friday or Saturday nights. HOWEVER, we made the commitment to this family 2 years ago and this will be the last of our rescheduled-due-to-the-pandemic events. Consequently we will be closed to the public that evening. We regret any inconvenience.

Entrée

Topped with sundried tomatoes and mushrooms over wild and brown rice. Finished with a provolone cream. Only $24! This dish pairs perfectly with a more buttery Chardonnay, so we suggest the Sonoma Cutrer Chardonnay from the Russian River Valley (CA) or the William Hill Chardonnay (also from CA) to complement your meal.
