FINANCIAL FITNESS PROGRAM FOR FAIRFAX COUNTY EMPLOYEES
The Financial Empowerment Center participated in the second Get Fit Financial Fitness Program for Fairfax County employees. This event was coordinated with the Consumer Specialist, Vee Johnson of the Consumer Affairs Branch. Attendees were treated to a presentation by T.Rowe Price about the county's 457 Plan, contribution types, a financial tune-up checklist, and preparing for unexpected life events. The FEC provided volunteer financial coaches to offer complimentary virtual coaching sessions. County employees could also schedule appointments for future dates. Vee and the Consumer Affairs Branch have supported the FEC since our opening by providing in-person and virtual instruction to our clients. We are thankful for your partnership and look forward to future events.
