Young Writers are Best in Show
Ten local high school students have been named as winners of the Santa Cruz Actors’ Theatre’s Young Playwrights’ Festival and their scripts will be offered in various productions in the coming months.

Where is the tire swing at Blue Ball Park?
Hey...GREAT NEWS...some were worried the tire swing at Anna Jean Cummings Park was stolen; others feared it was broken and would never be fixed...but we got the scoop from County Parks Director Jeff Gaffney: "The swing should be back in about 2-3 weeks (we are waiting for parts). It was inspected and needed some replacement parts." So many people were troubled by its loss..and now they know the rest of the story!

Grey Bears could use more help with their brown bag production line on Thursday and Friday mornings. As a token of our thanks, we make you breakfast (be there at 7am!) and give you a bag of food if wanted. Be at the warehouse with mask and gloves at 7am, and we will put you to work until at least 9am!
