CPF Webinar: OSHA ETS Guidance
Wednesday, July 28 - 2 PM
CPF is hosting a webinar on Wednesday, July 28 from 2 to 3 PM - with a presentation from Baker Donelson Attorney Martha Boyd outlining how pediatric practices can ensure they are in compliance with OSHA's Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS) for healthcare.

Confronting Vaccine Misinformation
The U.S. Surgeon General released an advisory on "Building a Healthy Information Environment" earlier this month in an effort to provide guidance to a variety of organizations on what can be done to help combat vaccine and health misinformation. Several other agencies have also released similar guides to try and help providers navigate this issue:

August is National Immunization Awareness Month! The annual awareness month is the perfect time to remind families of how critical it is to maintain routine and preventive vaccination. The CDC has called on its partners to boost messages around vaccination.

"Autism Management (Part 1) - Overview of Services and Therapies"
August 18 | 6 PM
Paul Dressler, MD, MPH, Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics, Division of Developmental Medicine, VUMC, and Jeffrey Hine, PhD, BCBA, Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, TRIAD Licensed Psychologist, Division of Developmental Medicine, VUMC, will be leading a presentation on August 18 at 6 PM on Autism Management.

The presentation will discuss an overview of services and therapies, including TEIS, school-based services, community-based therapies, and transition to adult services. This is the first part of a 2-part series on Autism (Part 2 on Sept. 9).

"Autism Management (Part 2) - Co-Morbidities and Initial Treatment Options"
September 9 | 6 PM
Paul Dressler, MD, MPH, Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics, Division of Developmental Medicine, VUMC, will be leading a presentation on September 9 at 6 PM on Autism Management, discussing co-morbidities to monitor for and initial treatment options, including driving factors and medication considerations surrounding ADHD, anxiety, depression, agitation, and others.
