Power Up
Friends, the Summer is wrapping up. In a few weeks school will start and with it many of our church programs. I pray for you, your ministry, and the children and youth in your care.
Let me leave you with a word of encouragement and vision for this year: PowerUp! This simple phrase reminds us that we need the Lord in all areas and seasons of our lives. Whether we talk about identity or mission, whether we are struggling or things are going well, we need to PowerUP! That’s the message of Philippians 4: 13. Jesus is the one who carries us through life’s ups and downs!
On another note, what plans do you have for children and youth ministry at the start of the school year? I recently read that 63% of students feel lonely on campuses in the first year of college. What a great opportunity for a mission–especially in the first weeks of school.
