Covid 19 Update
The Covid team met on Tuesday evening. Please read the updated protocols. We continue to apply a considerate and conservative approach but are delighted to welcome back your guests. Please read the protocols and the guest restrictions.

Catering is open from 9am Saturday and Sunday
The menus ranges from a tea/coffee, a full English or a slice of Jo's homemade cake to a full meal from noon or snacks all day long. The bar is open Saturday and Sunday, with a free scenic view.

Safety Boat Course

This weeks courses are sold out and we look forward to welcoming 40 juniors who are working through different stages of the RYA sailing scheme.

Date for your diary Sunday 12th September
Who will become the new Club Champion, Young Adult Champion and Junior Champion for 2021.
Apologies but the 2019 holders were Martin Wilson and James Crossley for the juniors but the 2020 Championships were held and the current holders are Club Champions, mother and son Liz and Alex Smallwood and the Young Adult Champion is Harry Wilson and the Junior title holder is Freddie Bingham-Cloke.

Kids Summer Holiday courses
This week we had 36 children all working towards an RYA qualification. They were a wonderful bunch who maintained their cool in searing temperatures. Thanks to the instructors Alex, James, Lucy,Natalya, Neil, Assistant Instructor Seb and congratulations to Arabella on succesful completion of her first full week as a Senior Instructor, we are lucky to have her. If your child is aged 14 or over and interested in becoming an Assistant Instructor at the club then please email sailing@dwsc.co.uk. This course can also work toward the Duke of Edinburgh Awards.
