Dear After School Program Managers and Coordinators,
Hope you all are well! It is time to apply for supper service for your after school program for the 2021-22 school year.
The supper program provides nutritionally balanced meals to youth during after school programs. Thanks to the extension of waivers by the Federal government, all students at all schools will continue to be served all meals for free! For the 2021-22 school year, we will be providing all after school programs supper (no after school snacks will be available in the 2021-22 school year).
Please note that your programs menu (hot or cold suppers), staffing, and service model will be dependent on site specific details such as enrollment, infrastructure, SF DPH approval, and more. Once an application is received for your site, SNS will follow up individually with more detailed information, program expectations, next steps including training, confirming your service time, location, and SNS Dining Staff member (if applicable).

REMINDER: NEW COVID-19 School Year Vaccination requirements for CBO Partners
There is a new vaccination requirement for all CBOs. Here are the directions and Vaccination FAQs. Please complete one form per agency. Completed forms are due August 11th via email to partnerships@sfusd.edu or hongl1@sfusd.edu.
CMS to EMS Transfer
FY21-22 CMS to EMS Activity and Attendance Transfers Began in July 2021: Please check your EMS account to ensure your FY21-22 Work Plan activities and attendance are transferring from CMS to EMS. Communicate transfer issues to mitzi.chavez@dcyf.org and complete the EMS Request Form. To request an EMS unlock for attendance that was entered after the deadline please submit a request using the EMS Request Form.
Coming Soon: The QAP is back!
As we go back to in person programs this Fall, we will resume our focus on program quality. We plan to share the 2021-22 QAP (Quality Action Plan) Journey with everyone soon. Please look in next week’s mailchimp for the link and the more information.

Did you know that our ExCEL QAP graphic designer, Christine Wong Yap, currently has her art on public display? “Dear America” is a series of projections featuring artworks by AAPI artists, lighting up the Bay Area in solidarity. Check out her collaboration with other artists HERE.
