Rural Gateway Peer-to-Peer Web Conference: An Overview
of the Self-Help Homeownership Opportunity Program Notice of
Funding Opportunity

Date: August 2, 2021
Time: 2:00 – 3:00 PM EDT

The Office of Rural Housing and Economic Development (ORHED) invites you to participate in our next Rural Gateway Peer-to-Peer Web Conference. Scheduled for August 2, 2021, this call will offer participants the opportunity to learn about the Self-Help Homeownership Opportunity Program (SHOP) Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO).

SHOP awards grant funds to eligible national and regional nonprofit organizations and consortia to purchase home sites and develop or improve the infrastructure needed to set the stage for sweat equity and volunteer-based homeownership programs for low-income persons and families. Through this Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA), HUD is making $10,000,000 of FY 2021 SHOP Program grant funds available to national and regional nonprofit organizations.

Join ORHED in an open forum on the SHOP NOFO.
