What are we up to?
Much of Australia is in lockdown again! It is starting to become Groundhog Day and many of us are feeling more stressed and anxious as our income disappears and our plans are all cancelled. Many are also dealing with added stress and grief as they are kept apart from their loved ones at times when they need to be connected more than ever (births, deaths, illness etc).

I have been planning to create a Stress Less program for a while as I see such a great need for it, never more than now! I was going to put it off because I am currently going through one of the most stressful times in my life with my mother's declining health however I just knew I had to do this now. Maybe if I lead a group of people through managing their stress, it will help me too! The power of connection, Fiona ❤

Tips for Managing Stress 🌻

It is not always possible to change the situation however you can change your response to it. Here are some of our favourite strategies:

1. Go for a walk, even just around the block, fresh air and sunshine can make all the difference.
2. Call or message a friend, someone who will give you space to let off steam without needing to fix it.
3. Play some of your favourite music, put on a favourite song and dance for 5 minutes or longer if you have time. We hold so much stress in the body so moving and singing are great ways to discharge some of that stress.
