You've seen our TiN Gold Competition Bolt for the Ruger MK II, III and IV but we have taken that one step further with the addition of a Target Trigger now available in the same TiN gold finish.

No, we are definitely not the first to offer a gold trigger but many other gold triggers (and other firearm components) are a variation of another gold finish. Many of these finishes are ones that we have tried at various times but have never really been completely satisfied. It could be that the finish wasn't as durable as we needed, or the finish was not consistent from part to part and batch to batch, or a combination of factors that prevented us from continuing down that path.

If you aren't familiar with the Titanium Nitride (TiN) process, is an extremely hard ceramic coating used due to its high hardness, good corrosion resistance, heat resistance, and excellent wear resistance - making it an excellent choice for parts such as our bolt and trigger.
