VCVA ANNUAL MEETING
We've set the date for our association's annual meeting at the Ledgewood Clubhouse.
Tuesday, October 19, 2021 @ 7:00 p.m.
More details to follow, but we hope to see everyone there.
BLOCK PARTY
All are invited. We've set a date for our next annual block party:
Sunday, September 12, 2021 @ 3:00 p.m.
Charlotte Becker has offered to head up the party committee and will be sending a flyer with more details in the next week or so.
OUR BOARD IS GROWING
Best practice for neighborhood boards is to have either three or five board members. Our declarations require we have at least four, so we would like to add one more person. Would you be interested?
We are looking for someone to take over the Board Secretary position. We are also looking for someone preferably with project management experience as we get into obtaining bids for painting and/or siding in 2023.
If you are interested, please let Doug Bardwell know. 216.592.8551 or dougbardwell@gmail.com.
PARKING ON THE ROCKS
We had our river rock refreshed this year, so to ensure that it lasts as long as possible, we’d appreciate it if you would not park on it or let your guests park on it. Cars are to be parked in your garage, on your driveway, on the street, or in the car park area. Do not park on the tree lawn or alongside your driveway.
HANDI-LIST UPDATE
We’re hoping to update our list of recommended (and not recommended) service firms and contractors for distribution at the annual meeting. Hopefully we’ll be putting it online so you don’t have to worry about losing your copy.
If you have had good (or bad) service from anyone this past year, please send Doug Bardwell an email (dougbardwell@gmail.com) with their name and a few words about why they did a good or bad job. We’ll share the list with everyone in the neighborhood this fall.
COACH LIGHTS
The only illumination our neighborhood has is from the coach lights next to your garage doors. Recently, we’ve noticed that a number of them have burned out. Please check yours and replace the bulb if it isn’t working. If you need help installing the bulb, let someone on the board know and we'll be happy to help.
LEGAL STUFF
If your home title is held in trust, our attorneys have suggested our association records should reflect that information. If that's your situation, please let Mae Karoli know so we can update our books. 440.238.5425 or valleycreek@roadrunner.com
Just a reminder, if you haven't submitted your insurance certificate, please send that to Mae as well.
