Hi <<First Name>>,

Herb lives in an apartment attached to his son’s house, which means he has privacy but also daily support and care from family. When everyone else was simultaneously scheduled to be away, Herb’s family called Everyday Hands.

We stopped in daily to check on Herb, and the house. We prepared meals, socialized, strolled the neighborhood, and even took Herb for a drive. His family was thrilled to get our check-ins.

When hiring someone to check your home and provide short-term or recurring companion care, look for these features:

✅ Bonded

✅ Insured

✅ Fully-vetted (employee background checks)

✅ Multiple reputable referrals

Do you or someone you know need a backup for supporting a beloved elder? Reach out.

Here to help,

LEARN MORE

Everyday Hands had an especially organic and home-grown beginning. After surviving breast cancer and spending 25 years in Corporate America, I decided that it was time for a change. In 2016, I began helping my neighbors, friends, and loved ones with ordinary everyday tasks—sitting with an elderly neighbor for companionship, picking up prescriptions, getting kids on their morning bus, and even delivering forgotten lunch boxes to school.

Within a short amount of time other people began to call on me for similar assistance. I quickly realized that not only did I have a passion for helping people, but also there is a significant need in our community for help with “the small stuff.”

I truly love what I do and the satisfaction that I get from helping people is incredibly fulfilling!
