Greetings Atlanta,
My name is Catherine Johnson and I am honored to be your Chair for the 2021-2022 year! As in-person events return this year, I am excited to welcome you back to our Chapter! The executive board has planned and coordinated several events for the year that we can't wait to share with you!
With the beginning of a new year, my hope is to expand our reach and connect not only engineers, but anyone in a STEM career. NSBE is inclusive of all careers and backgrounds; we really need to stick together and build each other up.
Our year will feature events for professional development and networking, mentorship for collegiate NSBE students, and our 5th annual District Wide NSBE Jr. Program!
Like many, I didn't know about the endless possibilities and opportunities of STEM, and I am still learning today. Since college, I have been committed to not only expanding the knowledge of NSBE, but also enriching the NSBE community. I'm so excited to see what all is in store for the Atlanta Professionals Chapter during this upcoming year!
