Special thanks to Allie from Saddle & Bridle Magazine!

We had a great time and learned a ton at our July Camp!

Question of the month:

Aren’t private and group lessons the same?

Answer: No, they are not. All students should start out in a private lesson for at least the first month. Depending on age and progress made(determined by the instructor), students should then move to taking classes twice a week, one private and one group. Private lessons allow the instructor to focus solely on one student. This allows the class to go in any direction the student needs, including participating in lunge lessons to help build strength and balance. At the upper levels, this allows for targeting advanced skills. Group lessons allow for game type environments, practice of traffic control, the ability to watch others and ring etiquette. Both are invaluable for rider growth!
