The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 14-year-old Yasmin Matin, who was last seen in the 1700 block of Benning Road, Northeast, on Thursday, July 22, 2021.

Yasmin Matin is described as a black female, 5’2 in height, 200 pounds, with brown eyes and dark brown braids. She was last seen wearing a black jacket, grey shirt and black pants.

The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public's assistance in identifying a person of interest in reference to a Theft I incident which occurred in the 2300 b/o 16th Street, SE, on Friday, July 2, 2021, at approximately 12:03 AM. The subject was captured by a nearby surveillance camera.

DO YOUR PART TO HELP PREVENT AND SOLVE CRIME. Crime Solvers of Washington, DC currently offers a reward of up to $1,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and indictment of the person or persons responsible for a crime committed in the District of Columbia. The Metropolitan Police Department announces arrests in recent Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle and Theft One (Stolen Auto) offenses in Washington, DC.

Friday, July 16, 2021

  • 29 year-old Nigel Pulliam, of Southeast, DC, was arrested for an Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle offense that occurred in the 1600 block of Benning Road, Northeast. CCN: 21-098-186

  • 23 year-old Kenneth Ward, of Southeast, DC, was arrested for an Theft One (Stolen Auto) offense that occurred in the 2700 block of Martin Luther King, Jr Avenue, Southeast. CCN: 21-098-283

Monday, July 19, 2021 

  • 18 year-old Roy Jordan, and 20 year-old Jalen Dryer, both of Southeast, DC, were arrested for an Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle offense that occurred in the 500 block of Water Street, Southwest. CCN: 21-099-483

Tuesday, July 20, 2021 

  • 37 year-old Hayes Cotton, of no fixed address, was arrested for anUnauthorized Use of a Vehicle offense that occurred in the 3500 block of Water Street, Northwest. CCN: 21-099-961

MPD 7D | Suspects Sought in a Robbery (Force and Violence) and Theft One Stolen Auto Offense: 3100 b/o Bruce Place, SE

Saturday, July 24, 2021

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Carjacking Task Force seek the public’s assistance in identifying suspects in reference to a Robbery (Force and Violence) and Theft One Stolen Auto offense that occurred on Thursday, July 15, 2021, in the 3100 block of Bruce Place, Southeast. 

At approximately 6:00 pm, one of the suspects approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect forcibly took the victim’s property. The suspect then fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle. 

The suspects were captured by a nearby surveillance camera and can be seen in the photos below:
