COVID-19 Disaster Payment and Pandemic Leave Disaster Payment

If the recent lockdowns or personal orders to quarantine have stopped you from working, please look into the COVID-19 Disaster Payment and the Pandemic Leave Disaster Payment. You may be eligible to receive one or both of these Australian Government payments.

The Census is coming this August

Every five years, the Australian Bureau of Statistics counts every person and household in Australia. The Census is the most comprehensive snapshot of the country and tells the story of how we are changing. It includes around 10 million households and over 25 million people. Census data tells us about the economic, social and cultural make-up of the country.

Census night is on Tuesday 10 August 2021. You should have already received a paper form that was delivered to households across the State in late July/early August with instructions on how to take part. For more information, to do your Census online or complete on paper visit the Australian Bureau of Statistic website.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) resources for community groups

On the Service Australia website you will find resources you can use when you’re helping people in your community affected by COVID-19. There are also resources there to help you explain to your community what they need to know about COVID-19 vaccinations. You can use these resources to support your conversations with people in your faith community. For more information visit the Service Australia website.
