Recipe for a Homecoming is Coming!
I'm excited to announce that Book 2 of the Stirling Ranch Cowboy series is available for preorder.
Naturally, I have launched a new tiara giveaway and, because the publisher sent me some ARC copies, I want to give away a signed copy for a lucky reader. Or three...
Recipe for a Homecoming features Veronica James, a woman who has escaped from an abusive relationship and has returned to the only place in the world she considers HOME. Butterscotch Ridge. She reunites with her childhood friend, rancher Mark Stirling, and is clear she's not interested in more than friendship.
Mark wants more from Roni, but he knows she's been through hell. He resolves to set his romantic notions aside to be her friend and help her heal. Everything works just fine...until Roni changes the rules.

As always, stay safe and thank you for reading!

EXTENDED CONTENT FOR MEMBERS WHO REQUESTED TO KNOW MORE ABOUT ME!!
Little known factoid: Sometimes I "borrow" names from readers and other authors for my characters. In this book, Veronica is in honor of Veronica W. (you know who you are) and James is in honor of my friend, author Elle James. (My hero in Book 1 was named after a longtime reader too!) In the Marine's Reluctant Return (Coming 2/22) Crystal Stoker's story, I borrowed another amazing author's name. If you don't know Susan Stoker, you should. She rocks.
Sorry for the Delay! I am delayed in fulfilling swag requests and sending out prizes, because we had a family emergency. If by family, I mean my dogs. Which I do. Some of you know my sweet rottie Lola. Well, we adopted another pup recently. Her name is Baby and she's a brat. Those of you with toddlers understand how crazy that gets.
Shortly after we brought Baby home, we noticed that Lola was bleeding in her mouth and nose, so we took her to the vet. We were shocked to learn that her platelet counts were below 5,000 (they are supposed to be over 200,000, so that meant ANY bruise or cut could cause her to bleed to death because she wasn't clotting). The doctor said it was an auto immune response (which was irritating because my dad is fighting this as well--there's no connection other than the fact that I've never seen one autoimmune issue and now I am dealing with two). The vet also said it was probably triggered by a virus and that Lola was probably predisposed to autoimmune issues. Whee!
We wrapped Lola in bubble wrap (figuratively) and fed her prednisone (and all the other drugs she needed to fight the side effects) and now she is back in the safe zone. We went for our first walk today.
But wait! There's more. Baby also has a bad infection that can only be treated with steroids and antibiotics. So lovely. I have two dogs and one daddy on steroids.
TL;DR: Dogs on Drugs Take A Lot Of Work and I am Tired. So sorry for the delay.
I am, however, thrilled that Lola didn't die.
