How quickly things change!  Unfortunately due to the ACT Lockdown, the announcement at the National Library will not be going ahead.  However, you can still take part in the National Announcement!

Pre-Announcement Special Event

From the CBCA NSW is their special Kids Book of the Year Event.  To register go to: https://www.cbcansw.org.au/kids-book-of-the-year-event-2021.  As a COVID special, this event is now free! 

When: 11.15am Friday 20th August. 
Followed by: National announcement at 12pm

For Primary students, Nat Amoore will be sharing her book "The right way to rock".  For Secondary students, Anna Whateley will be talking about her book 'Peta Lyre's rating normal". This is followed by students from across NSW will reviewing titles from  the Older Readers & Younger Readers category of the 2021 CBCA Book of the Year Awards.

Kids' Corner 

The latest edition of Kids' Corner is all about Book Week.  It has  reviews, poetry, songs, authors and illustrator chats and lots more!
