The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is actively participating in a federally funded pilot program with a consortium of participating state DOTs to test the use of density profiling systems (DPS) as a new, innovative technology. The objective of the peer exchange is to encourage the sharing of best practices and exchange new ideas for future uses and technological improvements. Knowledge shared from lead states regarding the use of DPS will result in a productive peer exchange with documented proceedings for distribution.
