PRESS RELEASE

UNU and EMG Partner to Accelerate Collective Action on Environment and Human Settlement Issues


New collaboration agreement aims to advance knowledge on protecting the environment and enhance human well-being. UNU-FLORES Director, Prof. Edeltraud Guenther, is nominated as the Senior Focal Point for the UNU-EMG partnership. The Nexus Dialogue on Food System Resilience through Integrated Natural Resource Management, a Food Systems Summit 2021 Independent Dialogue, co-organised by EMG and UNU-FLORES on 7 June 2021 is among the first collaborative initiatives.

An inaugural regional interim workshop (DNCi) took place on 9 June 2021 as part of the international Dresden Nexus Conference (DNC) event series.

Sustainability Stories Photo and Video Competition: Shortlist Revealed

UNU-FLORES and the Technische Sammlungen Dresden presented their shortlist, selected from more than 400 entries from almost 40 countries. Shortlisted contributions are now on display at the Technische Sammlungen Dresden.
 

Eighth Session of the Advisory Committee

In its eighth session, the Advisory Committee convened virtually, discussing the Institute’s recent development and how to advance its position as thought leader on the Resource Nexus.
