Rah, McGaugh!

Welcome to the 2021-2022 School Year!

The award-winning McGaugh PTA is so happy to welcome all of our families to this exciting school year!

We've got a lot of fun activities and fundraisers planned as we return to campus with a full day schedule and traditional school year.

The best way to support our staff and students is to continue the “magic” of McGaugh’s community by joining the PTA, attending the meetings, and getting involved!  Here's some important things to remember:

1) Anyone can join - parents AND extended family, plus students, teachers, community members, alumni

2) A membership is one of the best ways to become involved - it allows you to vote on our our programs and support our teachers and students throughout the year!

**Save the Date** - Our first PTA meeting will be Thursday, September 2nd at 8:15am in the McGaugh Auditorium

Kind Regards,

Welcome back from Project SEEK!

On behalf of Project SEEK, welcome to the new school year! We are excited to connect again with our amazing school community, back on campus. Each year, Project SEEK fully funds the credentialed teachers in the Art Lab, Innovation Lab, and Sea Lion Lab. Without amazing volunteers and the generous support of you and our community, these programs would not be possible!

Project SEEK is proud to have a dedicated group of volunteer parents and a generous, supportive community who have a passion for kids at McGaugh.

Thank you to our 2020-2021 Project SEEK Officers and Board:

President:                    Julie McMahon
Vice President:            Lisa Johnston
Treasurer:                   Yolande Davies
Secretary:                    Lisa Carl

Board Members: Kristen Alves, Andrea Bigler, Amber Nichols, Rosette Sowell, Kelley Stratmann, Jen Reese, Vanessa Reynolds, Megan Rojas, Joy Wadleigh, and Claudia Wille

We would love you to join us at our next meeting! Save the date, September 14th for the first meeting of the year. Meet new friends and learn more about how you can help keep these programs alive at McGaugh.

Sincerely,
Claudia Vecchio Wille
Project SEEK President

Thank you for your generous support of Project SEEK!

Last year, Project SEEK raised $140,000 for the Art and Technology Programs at McGaugh. Your generous support funded three credentialed teachers for the Art lab, Innovation Lab and Media Center for the 2020-2021 school year.

Although we had a very successful virtual fundraiser last year, this school year, we will need as much support and participation as possible in our “back-to-normal” fundraising activities including Skate Night, Teacher Experiences at Carnival, and our largest fundraiser of each year, our annual gala, The Event. We are excited to be able to plan and host these fundraising activities again, but we’ll need your support to meet our goals to ensure the continuation of our Art and Technology Programs at McGaugh.

You can also help support Project SEEK by becoming a Sea Lion Sponsor and donating to our Fall Donation Drive (Download Flyer).  We hope you can join us in our efforts to keep these amazing programs running. We are so grateful for your continued support of art and technology at McGaugh!

Wishing all of you a wonderful school year.

Sincerely,
Claudia Vecchio Wille
Project SEEK President 2021-2022
