Sensuous City

Sisters Hope Performance Method

We will offer our full time program Sisters Performance Method - Sensuous Learning at Ryslinge Højskole again in the spring 2022. Read more and sign up already now here. 

As a student, you will become deeply immersed in our innovative performance method. Under the guidance of Gry Worre Hallberg, you will undergo an insertion in the immersive and interactive performance techniques which have so far mainly been available for those involved in Sisters Hope’s performances. This method is also the fundament for the international and large-scale project Sisters Academy, including the training of all the performers who have worked with Sisters Hope through the years.

Sisters Hope Home

We’re in the midst of transforming a former and vacated SFO in Hedehusene to our new home: Sisters Hope Home. For the next 5 years we will manifest this artwork dedicated to poetic and sensuous modes of being and being together. The project originates from a longing for a venue where we can unfold our performative experiments and works in deeper and more refined versions.

The project has been established in collaboration with the Høje-Taastrup Municipality and in addition the foundation, Realdania, has provided the financial support to transform the physical facilities into the distinctive and aesthetic universe of Sisters Hope. The transformation is currently unfolding and we plan to open Sisters Hope Home in October 2021. We're infinitely excited and cannot wait to welcome you all in!
