Prayer Warrior Team Update August 2021

The next GLOBAL DAY OF PRAYER AND FASTING will be

Tuesday September 21st

Fasting starts on Monday the 20^th at sunset
and concludes on Tuesday 21st at sunset.
As Scripture teaches: “And there was evening, and there was morning;
the first day.” Genesis 1:3

We acknowledge that the Lord is God, and we praise and adore Him for who He is, not for what He gives us.

We rejoice with Paul:
"What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things? Who will bring a charge against God’s elect? God is the one who justifies; who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us. Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Just as it is written,

“For Your sake we are being put to death all day long;
We were considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”

But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

We come before the Lord with a sense of His holiness and majesty, knowing we’ve sinned and stand before him realising our utter lostness without Christ. We also know that He is a forgiving God and are assured of the fact that when we confess our sin, He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from our unrighteousness.

We are confident therefore, that He paid the price for our sin, and in Christ we are forgiven and declared not guilty, because of the sacrifice Jesus brought to satisfy the wrath of God.

We confess the sin of the nations before you Lord. We confess the disobedience of your people for not walking according to your will as revealed in Scripture; for not seeking to know your will; for rejecting your Word as the only ultimate truth by which we ought to live. Forgive us and cleanse us that we may live before you as holy people, chosen by you before the foundation of the earth. May we depend on your Holy Spirit for His guidance and our protection by your shed blood.

We have confidence to bring the needs of the Genesis Design ministry before you, asking that you will provide the means to print the materials to be used to teach your children about Biblical manhood, womanhood, sexuality and marriage; and to compensate those you have gifted to write the Genesis Design materials to your glory and honour. We pray for the anointing of your Spirit upon those working tirelessly and lovingly to complete the curriculum so many will learn the uncompromising truth of your Word.

We are confident that you will guide the leaders so they will not compromise the interpretation of your Word; that they will stand firm as they declare the truth and expose the lies, knowing they are answerable to You.

We thank you for your provision in so many ways. We especially thank you for moulding us more and more into your image. Thank you for opening doors in so many homes, churches, schools and countries to present Genesis Design to those who long to live godly, holy lives among their people. Work in them both to will and do your transformational work of grace and mercy. We bless you for the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit in our lives as He convicts of sin, righteousness and judgment.
