Haiti Earthquake Update:
As many of you are aware, there was an earthquake in Haiti on Saturday morning and it was registered at a magnitude of 7.2. The injury and death toll numbers continue to climb, and it could be days before anyone knows the level of loss. While communication is a bit difficult, we are very thankful to hear that the children at the locations where we lived and worked from 2011 - 2019 are safe, but this earthquake’s epicenter was very close to where we lived and many of the concrete structures were impacted.
We do want to let you know that we are in contact with several ministries in Haiti, and we would facilitate getting funds to those places of the most need. As you can imagine, there is a need for food, clean drinking water, and medical supplies, to help deal with those who are displaced and injured.
