Findhorn Evening event
Next week Moray is hosting a training camp for the 16/17year olds who were selected from the Regional Squads to go to Stockholm – sadly they couldn’t travel and so they are here. As a thank you for helping with access and permissions for areas, they are planning and organising an evening event for us on Findhorn.
Date: Wednesday 25
th August
Time: 6pm – 7pm with courses closing at 8pm
Parking: Findhorn main beach car park ( meet in parking area beyond the motorhome parking)
Courses: Yellow, Orange, Short Green, Green

Margaret will go to this event with the currently available club running tops You will be able to assess them for size. If you are considering placing an order for a Moravian jacket or a different size running top, they will need to be ordered. Message from Steve re Hills Training
So this week is the start of a new school year and maybe you have a little spare time to work on your fitness? The club hills training continues every Thursday. Meet at the car park in Grant Park at 09.30, jog across to the cricket pavilion then up the hill for 40 minutes of work, followed by coffee in the park. See you there.
Corrected Club league
The formulae used to calculate the main league points, announced last week, did not unfortunately include some of the recent events. This has now been corrected and should include all the counting events from Coast and islands and Lochaber 2021. Has your score changed? Have a look

Event reminder
Entries are due in soon for the double header SOL weekend in Aberdeenshire on the 4th and 5th September. The closing date for entries is Sunday 29th August.
