A LETTER FROM HEAD OF SCHOOL, RICHARD DE LA CUADRA

Xavier families -

Welcome back to school! I hope you all enjoyed a fun-filled summer with your family. The Xavier team is looking forward to seeing everyone for the first day of school Monday, August 23. Additionally, I'd like to extend a warm welcome to new Xavier students and their families, we are so thrilled to see new faces as we continue growing the Xavier legacy!

This year we are starting a new chapter in our school’s history as we move to our new campus location at 1001 West Loop South, Suite 500 Houston, TX 77027. We will start the year on the 5th floor as we continue constructing our new 32,000 square feet campus on the 3rd floor, which is slated to be completed in December. Additionally, please see below for important back-to-school information for parents and students.

As for COVID protocols, we are fully committed to keeping our students and faculty safe, with 100% of our staff and more than 97% of our students 12 and up, vaccinated. We are in communication with leading health officials in the country, to ensure we are staying up to date with the CDC guidelines and official Campus protocols will be released before the first day of school.

With a new location, comes new changes to staff. We are so excited to bring on new faculty members whom I have no doubt, our students will love. Additionally, more information regarding new courses and expanded after-school programs for our students is to come in the next few weeks.

Looking ahead, I am confident in the new school year as we continue to grow the Xavier community and prepare for the next chapter at our new location. As always, thank you for your support, perseverance, and flexibility throughout the past year. I cannot wait to see what the 2021-2022 school year brings for Xavier Academy.

- Richard
