Session "Application of Remote Sensing to Societally Important Regions: Coastal, Estuarine, Tropical and Polar Waters"


The CB15 session at the Ocean Science Meeting 2022 (#OSM2022) is very relevant for you all. This session is organised also with the support of GHRSST, specifically with the inputs of Jorge Vazquez, Marouan Bouali and colleagues (thank you guys for making GHRSST visible at OSM2022!). 
Jorge and Marouan encourage the GHRSST community member to submit an abstract by 15 September 2021!

"Ocean predictions and observations in response to the climate emergency"

This 90 minutes webinar is a satellite event to the Ocean Decade Laboratories Laboratory 2: “ A predicted Ocean” of the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development 2021-2030

Showcasing the link between ocean observations, climate models and climate services.Highlighting their importance for decision-making and for responding to the climate emergency.

This webinar is a joint collaboration of the Blue-Action, GHRSST, TRIATLAS, INTAROS projects: The Blue-Action project, the INTAROS and the TRIATLAS projects have received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreements no. 727852, 727890 and 817578 respectively. The GHRSST project office is funded by the European Union Copernicus programme.

Pia Wind of the GHRSST Project Office is taking care of finalising the proceedings of the Science Team Meeting of June 2021. She will be in contact with you in the following days if she needs more information and integrations.
