Come pick up a project to keep you company as Henri rolls through this weekend!
Yarns in the Farms is open for in-person shopping: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 11am - 2pm and Saturday from 10am - 4pm. Our online shop remains open as well and we're still shipping and doing contactless pickups. Please, don't hesitate to reach out to us if we can assist in any way.

[NB: Unless otherwise specified, yarn, needle, accessory, and book links/images will take you to our website and pattern links/images will take you to Ravelry.]

The dwindling days of summer are upon us. The vegetable gardens are ripening up, the evening thunderstorms are rolling through (and we need to keep tabs on the remnants of hurricanes), and it's getting darker slightly earlier every night. It's always a little bittersweet, this time of year. There's still summer to hold on to but lots to look forward to for fall.

We're in heavy fall and winter planning mode over at the shop but there are still plenty of things to get excited about right now.

All Out This Week..

PomPom Quarterly #38 (Roots & Branches) & Moon and Turtle both officially released on Monday, the 16th.

Nomadic Knits #10 (Texas) officially released on Wednesday, the 18th.

All of these books are available both on-line and at the shop. Our quantities are limited for all of them so, if you know for sure that you want a copy, snag one quick!

Don't forget about our Work-in-Progress/Group Help Classes! They're the perfect opportunity to get the help of an instructor on a project with which you need assistance.

The next scheduled times are in the evening on August 23rd, September 20th, October 25th.

We're working on adding a Saturday morning option too so keep your eyes peeled for those additions to the calendar.

A great big thank you to all of you who have already answered our classes survey!

Haven't had a chance yet? It's still open so let us know your thoughts when you have a chance!

Your responses will be anonymous but feel free to leave your contact information in the last question if you would like us to get back to you personally.

Berroco Project of the Week
(Yarn and pattern links in this section will take you to Berroco's pages for the design and the yarn.)

Berroco has back to school on the brain too!

Have a knit-worthy kiddo who deserves a new sweater?

"Finley" is a go everywhere knit that you can make in anybody's favorite color combo. Knit and pieces and seamed, it even has a kangaroo pocket to hold any treasures that may be found while out on an adventure.

Written for kids sizes from 2-10, the recommended positive ease is 2-4". You'll need US size 6 & 8 needles, stitch holders and markers, and waste yarn to hold some of your stitches.

Easy care, worsted weight Berroco Remix is the yarn for this design. A blend of 100% recycled fibers, it's wool-free for those littles who are sensitive.

Remix comes with 216 yards/ball and retails for $12/ball. Each size only takes 2 or 3 balls of the main color and 1 ball each of the contrast colors.

As always there is an additional $7 shipping charge for these drop ship orders so Berroco can send them straight to your door.

Want to order one of these kits? Go to Berroco's pages for the design and yarn to check out the details and choose your size and color (clicking on the links/pictures above will take you straight to them!). Then click here and send us an email. We'll be in touch to confirm your information and process your payment.

Is there an older Project of the Week that you're still thinking about? We can likely still get it! Check the Berroco 1-2-3 Dropship Store to figure out all the details and then use the email link above to send us a message.

Distractions

"How much pet hair do you need to make a purse? This knitter knows"

Shrewsbury Abbey has organized a group to donate blankets to a local dementia ward and they recently donated their 150th one.

This couple met online and bonded over their mutual love of animals. Now they have their own alpaca farm.

This creative crocheter created a Tom Daley doll, complete with knitting bag and his Team Great Britain sweater.
