Book of Condolences Opened at the Antigua and Barbuda High Commission in the UK Following the Passing of His Excellency Sir Lester Bryant Bird

The Antigua and Barbuda High Commission in the United Kingdom opened a virtual book of condolences on the High Commission’s website www.antigua-barbuda.com following the passing of National Hero and former Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda, Sir Lester Bryant Bird. 

High Commissioner H.E. Karen-Mae Hill and staff extend heartfelt condolences to Sir Lester Bird’s family and loved ones. Also, the High Commission reflects on Sir Lester’s invaluable contributions to our nation, the OECS, CARICOM, and The Commonwealth, leading to the further socio-economic growth and development of Antigua and Barbuda. Indeed, Sir Lester will be cherished for a lifetime. 

Heads of missions, other official representatives, friends of the twin-island state, and members of the Antigua and Barbuda diaspora across the United Kingdom and Europe are invited to sign and pen a message in tribute to Sir Lester.
