This Week at Emmanuel

Bishop Chilton Knudsen has been called as Assisting Bishop during Bishop-elect Paula's recovery from a cerebral brain hemorrhage. Bishop Knudsen will begin her tenure here in Illinois in early October. She brings with her a wealth of experience. Bishop Knudsen will visit congregations and provide support for the Standing Committee, the bishop’s staff, and other diocesan leadership bodies.

We hope to welcome her to Emmanuel very soon.

Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at Aspire is hosting a movie night.
Dinner at 6pm
Movie at 6:30 followed by a discussion
"To Kill a Mockingbird" is August's choice.

Emmanuel is offering a COVID Vaccine clinic
Saturday, August 21st from 10am-4pm.
The Illinois Dept. of Public Health is providing either the J&J or Pfizer vaccines.
We are also looking for volunteers to assist.
