It has been quite a while since I had the chance to write to you.
In November last year my stepfather passed away peacefully at the age of 91. It did not happen unexpectedly. So his passing reminds me of my transience: of my life and of transformation and the ongoing change.
In this immediate truth, bitter as it may seem, is found a great gift: For me it is the gift of liberation.
Not that we misunderstand each other. Death does not liberates us.
Liberation is found in insight. We live, work and act only as a team; whether in our family, as a single person, in our society, or together with our planet with the myriad plants and animals, the elements and what we cannot even explain.
Just because we have to.
If one of us dies, we all go. If someone new comes, we get a new supreme gift and we are asked to turn our attention to it with responsibility and gratitude.
We all have the right to be born sheltered and secure; to create a life of abundance and prosperity and to walk in peace. We all have the right on happiness and to claim it our own.

The Pause and the Effect
Peace of mind not only makes me personally more content, it establishes peace and creates harmony. So even my hand with a heavy lens is allowed to breathe in and out as if by itself. Images created in this kind of awareness are speaking to me in a simple and plain language.
