Volunteers Needed

Youth Folk Dancing
Our Leikarringen Youth Folk Dancers will start classes September 13. Registration will be available on line soon. Follow them on facebook or check our website for details.

Lodge Finances

At the last Board meeting, we discussed how much detail should be shared with lodge members via the Maaken or mid-month. Historically, the monthly Income & Expense statements have only been provided at the Board and at the lodge meetings. Because the mailings may go to an audience beyond just the lodge members, there is concern about how much information should be included.
For the month of July, the Income & Expense statement shows total income of $40,350, total expense of $25,526, and a difference of $14,823 (in the black!).
I am asking for feedback on how much information you would like for these monthly reports. Contact me by e-mail (jerrblock@gmail.com) or by phone (360-710-2134). We do also supply monthly and YTD reports at the lodge and Board meetings and encourage you to read them at that time.
