From now until the 30th September 2021 you can visit the "Displays Decoded" exhibition at the University Botanical Gardens. Artist Alex Hirtzel collaborated with Dr Dave Lawson in the School of Biological Sciences to examine the ways in which pollinators are attracted to and interact with flowering plants using various sensory channels. The exhibition uses a blend of the most innovative interactive technology (including augmented reality), inspiration from 17th-century Dutch flower paintings and the latest scientific research on the symbiotic relationship of plants and insects. The exhibition is free to attend to staff and students at the University, though tickets must be booked in advance here.

Have a look at these case studies from researchers who took part in the aforementioned Royal Society’s Summer Science Festival in 2019 to help give an idea of exhibiting research at a public fair. You can read the case studies here.
