CHURCH RENOVATION PROGRESS REPORT
Parking lot reconstruction is complete. 

As previously recommended by the Building Committee and  approved by the Board of Trustees, a contract has been finalized and signed to begin the interior renovation work on the Chapel, as well as making some exterior repairs to the Church buildings siding.  The renovation work also includes some electrical work to install new lighting over the entry of the Fellowship Hall, back parking lot lighting and replacing the lights that illuminate the sign in front of the Church.  This work  has been delayed is scheduled to be completed within 45 days.  Access to and use of the Chapel will NOT be available during the renovation. The Chapel renovation work includes replacing some failing floor boards, new carpeting, patching and painting ,installation of new front entry doors and new emergency exit lighting.

The architect is expected to have the proposed plans for renovation of the Sanctuary and Fellowship Hall ready for the Building Committee's review.  If accepted by the Committee and approved by the Board of Trustees, this renovation work is expected to begin about September 15 and to be completed by December 20.  It is expected that the Sanctuary interior work will be completed before beginning the renovation work in the Fellowship Hall.

CONGREGATIONAL MEETING FOR PRAYER - ONLINE

Every Wednesday at 7:00 pm, we will have our online prayer group. We will pray for the care givers, patients, and all the world to be relieved of the Coronavirus and any others that need healing. With everything that is going on in our nation and the world our prayers are needed more than ever. Please check the Pastoral letter to join us.

ONLINE GIVING
Church service  is being done online. You can continue your offerings by giving online. It's easy.  Recurring donations provide a steady stream of support. It is a great way to manage charitable giving without the worry of missing a payment - you set the frequency, select the payment method and your gift continues to give over time. Go to the PVUMC website and find the online giving page.  If you click on this link it will take you to the Online giving page. You may also mail your offerings to the church by regular mail. • If you are sick (with symptoms such as new fever 100.4°F or higher, chills, persistent cough, headache, flu-like symptoms, shortness of breath, sore throat, diarrhea, muscle aches, ..) you must stay home. 

• Wear a face mask if you have not been fully vaccinated. Face masks are encouraged. 

• Keeping a safe physical distance from persons other than your household group is encouraged.
