Carmel Bach Festival Volunteers We’re Welcoming You Back to Bach!
As many of you know, the live in-person 2021 Carmel Bach Festival is happening in October.
Musicians will begin arriving October 17and rehearsals for seven Main Concerts will begin the following day. Opening night is scheduled for Saturday, October 23 and closing night will be Friday, November 5.
Bach Festival Ushering All Main Concert performances will be held at the Sunset Center. If you are interested in ushering for any CBF concert, all ushering will be under the direction of Sasha Swift, Sunset Center Event Manager. You will need to fill out the attached Sunset Center Volunteer application and submit it either in person or via email to sasha@sunsetcenter.org
A MANDATORY USHER TRAINING SESSION will be held Wednesday, August 25 at 5:30 pm in Carpenter Hall at the Sunset Center. A live Zoom session will be available if you are unable to attend in person. Please RSVP to the training by August 20 to sasha@sunsetcenter.org, in addition, direct any questions regarding Carmel Bach Festival ushering directly to Sasha.
Bach Festival Volunteer Opportunities Regarding Carmel Bach Festival volunteer opportunities, we are in need of Musician Hospitality, Musician Transportation, Event Assistants, and Will Call volunteers. Expect an announcement for all sign-ups in September.
The ever-popular Art Raffle will not be held this year. Mary Hill, co-chair of the committee, sends her heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who has worked so hard on this event in previous years. The Raffle will resume in 2022. Mary encourages Art Raffle participants to consider volunteering for other opportunities this year.
