CRD Looks to the Future with Two New Divisions

To position Berkeley Lab among the premier institutions for data science research, on October 1 the Computational Research Division will reorganize into two new divisions: one focusing on data science research and the other focusing on math, computer, and computational science research.

ESnet and GÉANT, Europe’s leading collaboration on e-infrastructure and services for research and education, recently teamed up to increase the capacity of ESnet’s network loop in Western Europe to 200 Gigabits per second. 

CRD’s Talita Perciano Recognized as Outstanding Mentor

Talita Perciano, a research scientist in CRD’s Machine Learning and Analytics Group, is being recognized for providing exceptional mentorship to students participating in a number of internships at Berkeley Lab.

WINS Program Selects SC21 SCinet Cohort

Five new participants have been chosen to join the Women in IT Networking program at SC (WINS) program for SC21, to be held November 14-19 in St. Louis, Missouri.
