- Berkeley Lab's Advanced Quantum Testbed is among the first adopters of a new software platform called SuperstaQ that supports cloud API access to various quantum computing platforms, such as IBM Quantum, IonQ, and Rigetti. AQT is always an open hub for cutting-edge research and collaboration.
- Lisa Claus has been chosen as a finalist in Berkeley Lab's 2021 SLAM competition on September 23. Claus is a CRD postdoctoral researcher.
- In the next ESnet 5G for Science series talk, Luis Maestro of Nokia Bell Labs will present work under way to deploy a cellular network on the Moon for NASA. The virtual event takes place Thursday, August 19, at 1 p.m.
- To celebrate Berkeley Lab’s 90th anniversary, all Lab staff are invited to create a short video wishing the Lab a happy birthday. Be creative! Songs, poems, dance, art, and cakes are among the many possibilities. Submission deadline is today at 5 p.m.
