Almost 200 years ago, a group of British citizens inspired by the bravery and generosity of England’s patron saint, founded the St. George’s Society Toronto on St. George’s Day and became agents of change within the city. We are proud to say that
your loyalty help us to continue their legacy.
Today, the members of the St. George’s Society Toronto are impassioned patrons of culture, education, health care, and charitable institutions across the city. Through your
member donations and fundraising events, the Society donates to over 20
charitable organizations annually.
Additionally, the Society’s $2.5+ million
educational endowments provide bursaries to undergraduate, graduate, and international exchange students studying in various fields, including British history, physical education, nursing, and philosophy.

The Society’s calendar year goes from September 1st to August 31st;
due to the Covid-19 pandemic the Society waived last year’s membership.
