- PIANISTS NEEDED - Our Beginner's Sabbath School Class is in need of piano players to volunteer on a rotating basis. If you have some piano experience and love children's smiling faces contact Debbi Christensen or the office. Copies of the music can be provided in advance.
- NOMINATING COMMITTEE REPORT - The Nominating Committee has completed their work for this year and some ministries will have new leaders who will be starting soon. There are still a few positions open and available. If would like to serve contact the Pastor and discuss where you might fit.
- CELEBRATION OF LIFE - You are invited to a Celebration of Life for Verda Belle Lyons Saturday, Aug 14, between 2 and 5pm at the home of Bill & Pam Lyons and Bill Sr. (1779 Delouch Dr., Lincoln, CA). This is an informal event. Just drop in and share memories when you can between 2-5pm. There will be refreshments served. If you have questions, contact Dave Lyons at 503-784-1743.
- CHRISTIAN WOMEN'S RETREAT - CWR is happening in person this year! Dates are October 1-3 & October 8-10, 2021. No applications postmarked before August 16 will be accepted. Be sure and put that you are with the Roseville SDA Church.
- PRAYER TEAM NEEDED - If you would like to be part of the team that prays for our Community Bible Series each night please contact Lanni Aasen.
- COVID UPDATE FROM THE NCC - The State of California issued new guidance following the recent update by the CDC. The new guidance recommends mask wearing indoors for all people, vaccinated or not. The Northern California Conference is asking us to announce this information. Please note this is a recommendation from the State and not a requirement. This new guidance is due to the increase in COVID cases that are tied to the new variants.
- SMALL GROUP KAYAK TRIP - Our next kayak date is August 22, smoke permitting. If you have a kayak or paddle board and want to join us contact Lorraine Conner. She may even be able to hook you up with a kayak if you are interested but don't have access to one.
- CHURCH OFFICE HOURS - As we continue to transition from at-home vs in-person, just a reminder that our church office business hours are 9:00am to 12:00pm Tues, Wed, & Thur. Please keep this in mind when contacting the office. Currently, our office staff is working part-time both from home and the office.
- CARE & COMPASSION - Women's Ministry Care & Compassion cancer group will begin meeting in-person once again starting Thur, Sept 9 from 2-4pm in the Founders Room. Whether you are already a member, or are interested in becoming one, please plan on joining us for a few hours of fellowship. We will be putting together "Cancer Blessing Bags" and also studying about how God cares for us. For more information contact Pam Ramsey.
- OUR COMMUNITY BIBLE SEMINAR - "Jesus and the Tabernacle," is about to begin! If the study of the sanctuary has left you confused, worried, or bored–you don’t want to miss this. It explains how everything in the wilderness Tabernacle that Moses built points to Jesus. In Jesus we find hope, faith, and love. During this seminar you are going to fall in love with Jesus all over again! This 8-part series is being held at our church on August 19, 21, 22, 24, 26, 28, 29, and 31 from 6:30pm-8pm. Pr.
