"Developing a passion for Christ by equipping disciples & reaching the lost."
The Lord provides! After our congregational meeting last week, we have new officers for deacon and elder. Following that meeting, we will ordain and install these men to their new office this coming Sunday, August 15th during the 9:00AM service. This is a celebration of God's work at Redeemer Church and his continued faithfulness to build his church one leader at a time. The men who will be ordained are Bob Lucas for the office of Elder, Dave Allen for the office of Elder, and David Beisner for the office of Deacon. In addition, we have several men who are being installed for another term which includes Brian Tvenstrup as Elder, Jack Diemer as Deacon, Roy Jardin as Deacon, Bill Mulcahy as Deacon, and Greg Cramp as a Deacon. These men will take vows to assist in shepherding Christ's Church that will publicly affirm their commitment to the Bible, the Westminster Confession of Faith, and our Book of Church Order. In addition, they will promise to exercise their duties in accordance with their belief in Christ, and desire to model the Gospel to our congregation. Most importantly, these officers will submit to being held accountable to their office by the other leaders in the church as well as striving to build up the purity, peace, and unity of the Church. God has richly blessed our Redeemer Church with many who have such a diversity of gifts, for the benefit of the kingdom and we are excited to recognize some of those gifts this Sunday. We hope you will make plans to join us as we celebrate!

In Him,

Josh Gilman
