Thank you to the many of you who donated to South DeKalb Improvement Association Education, SDIAE, on my birthday.  Rep Bee Nguyen and I believe in the work of this organization so strongly that we are sponsoring this Back to School joint fundraiser for our second time together.  Last year we raised $10,000 and our goal is $15,000 for this year. Every gift makes a difference!

We hope you can join us virtually next Sunday afternoon to learn about their effective work during the pandemic and their plans for this year, and that you will contribute to make a positive difference in the lives of South DeKalb families in need.   

All proceeds from this virtual fundraiser event will support the literacy and family engagement program for kindergarten students at McNair Discovery Learning Academy.

The South DeKalb Improvement Association Education (SDIAE) is a grassroots non profit supporting our children and giving them the tools they need to succeed. With the return to school in August, and with COVID Delta rates rising, SDIAE needs your help now more than ever! Their "Homework Diner" after school program, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Technology (STEM) Carnival, bookbag drives, and book buddy programs are essential to many South DeKalb's families and help ensure kids have the supplies and support they need.
