Professional Development Day 2021
Good news! The day you have all been waiting for is finally around the corner! That's right. The PMICOC Professional Development Day (PDD) 2021 is happening November 12th, at the Columbus Convention Center. Registration for the event starts on September 1st, so mark your calendars! September PMP Certification Trainings
In addition to registration for PDD, in September, the PMICOC is offering you two awesome opportunities to receive the necessary training to become a certified Project Manager!
PMP Review Bootcamp
Your first option is the PMP Review Bootcamp. This bootcamp is a week long accelerated course jam packed with all of the knowledge and materials needed to pass the exam. Hosted by Andy Burns and Dave Davis, this event is an awesome refresher on the PMP exam materials before you take the exam.

Q3 PMI Night School Certification Course
The second option, for those of you who prefer a later time, is the PMI Night School Certification Course.
This course is actually spread out over the course of four weeks, allowing participants time to absorb the PMP exam material and prep for the exam at a slower pace. There are 8 live-virtual classroom sessions taught by a practicing Project Management Agile specialist. Not only will this course give you the 35 hours required for the PMP, but you will be provided with road tested materials, including an online practice exam, that will suit you up for success.

Days: Every Tuesday and Thursday

Empowering Working Women in the Post-COVID Economy
Joy Biven, Deputy County Administrator, leads the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, the county’s largest agency and core social safety net. This considered, Bivens oversees the Franklin County Board of Commissioners’ health and human services agencies, Office on Aging, Child Support Enforcement Agency and Office of Justice Policy Programs. Based on her experience, she has noted that roughly one in four of Franklin County’s 1.3 million residents receives assistance from JFS. Based on this knowledge, Bivens is taking the time to lead a session discussing the ways for women to navigate childcare, wages and work-life balance in a post-COVID economy.
