Customers can place pre-orders for drive-through or walk-up pick up on market day. The pre-order system will go live on the farmers market website at www.govansmarket.org each week from Friday to Monday, or until all slots are filled.

New Items Available this Week:

(It's Back) Hot & Mild Salsa from Top Secret Salsa: Back on the menu -- a great post-market snack for when you're making dinner with all the yummy veggies you picked up from market. $6 for 16 oz container, add nixtamal tortilla chips for $4. Yum!
Honey Crisp Apples and Grapes from Shaw Orchards: Fall fruits are starting to show up. Pick up some crispy, sweet apples for snacking or school lunches. The grapes are sweet and tart! $6 a quart for apples, $5 a quart for grapes, $11 for a half peck of apples.
Trotters (aka pigs feet) from The Family Farm: High in collagen and great for bone broth soups. They can also be used for an great pot of greens. Get a box of greens from Stoecker and get some trotters to stew then with for the silkiest, yummiest greens you've ever eaten. Try out this recipe. Trotters $3.50 for a 2-pack. Greens $15 a box.
