Forest Management

The above picture is a recent photograph of a 8 year old oak hardwood plantation on Sean Moffett's woodlot just outside Sussex.  Tree tubes pictured above are used to help prevent browse from wildlife, in order to protect your investment.  These plantations require a great deal of care and maintenance, but if the owners put the effort in, a successful productive hardwood plantation can be enjoyed for many years.
