SLSWA Surf Squad Course

Surf Squad is back for the coming school holidays!

Registrations are now OPEN for SLSWA's Surf Squad! A surf sports coaching program for U12 - U15 members, Surf Squad provides specialised board, surf swimming and Ironman coaching and training in a fun and supportive environment with some of Western Australia’s top surf sports athletes.

The three-day program will be run each week of the school holidays!

2021 Program Dates:
Week 1: 28 - 30 September 2021 at Leighton Beach with coaches Soraya Lee & Max Hunter
Week 2: 5 - 7 October 2021 at Leighton Beach with coaches Phoebe Ashworth & Matt Colliss

Free Soft Tissue Treatment

I’m running a five-week student clinic, as an Occupational Therapy student. I will look at the whole person and use soft tissue treatments to help the person engage in the activities that they want or need to do.
 
Treatment can be done for ongoing, previous or reoccurring injuries. If you also have general muscle soreness or fatigue, soft tissue treatment can alleviate this too.
 
Clinic includes:

• Assessment and diagnosis
• Treatment using soft tissue techniques
• Injury prevention 
• Rehabilitation exercise programs

Clinic Hours:
Monday: 3pm-6pm
Tuesday: 9am – 12 noon
Wednesday: 7am- 10am
Thursday: 9am – 12 noon
Friday: 1pm – 4pm

Become a Lifeguard with SLSWA

Becoming a Lifeguard with Surf Life Saving WA puts you on the frontline of coastal safety services within WA.

SLSWA employs over 100 Lifeguards every summer (October to April) to deliver services at over 20 Metropolitan, South West and Great Southern locations. Limited opportunities within the Metropolitan region also exist during winter (May to October).

Remember all memberships for the last season ceased at the AGM but we have given you till the 30th September 2021 to sign up. If you haven't signed up by then, after this date, you can not train, use the club facilities and fob cards will be turned off.
